Dot Wright has been the President of the Arvada Chamber of Commerce since August 2008. Under her leadership, the Arvada Chamber has created Leadership Arvada, the Business Education Alliance, and an Arvada Young Professionals group, along with several new programs and events. “The Arvada Chamber of Commerce is not just another business organization, we’re a community” says President Dot Wright. In her free time, she mentors teens over at the Colorado Homeless Families; sits on the boards for the Ralston House, the Arvada Colts and the Foothills Animal Shelter Foundation; is on Congressman Perlmutter’s Small Business Advisory Committee; is on the Leadership Council for The White House Project; and is an ex-officio board member of the Arvada Economic Development Association, Jefferson County Economic Development, Jefferson County Business Resource Center, and Historic Olde Town Arvada. In 2010, Dot was named one of “Denver’s Forty Under 40” and in 2011 was an AYP Leadership Award winner. Dot lives in Arvada with her husband Dan and her dog Breckenridge.
